Atlanta Financial Welcomes Four New Team Members

Our team is growing and changing! We are excited to announce the addition of the following team members: Christopher Pena CFP®, Financial Planning Coordinator; Kassi Conley, Client Service Administrator; Sahil Khetani, Account Services Associate; and Tiana Cannon, Office Administrator. At the same time, we are sad to see our valued team member, Anna Chapman, leave after 7 years with the firm. She has been an invaluable part of the AFA team, and we wish her well as she embarks on a new career, pursuing her passion outside of the financial services industry.

Christopher joined the Atlanta Financial team in April 2016 after working as a financial advisor with MassMutual Financial Group. Christopher graduated cum laude from Georgia State University in May 2013 with a BBA in Finance and a certificate in Personal Financial Planning. Christopher is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds his Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network, in addition to being a licensed insurance agent for life, accident, sickness and variable products. In his spare time, Christopher enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Kassi joined the Atlanta Financial team in March 2016 after working as an associate financial representative with Northwestern Mutual. She works closely with Julie and her team, handling client inquiries and processing investment paperwork to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction possible. Kassi is currently in the process of achieving her Series 7 and 63 securities registrations to enhance her ability to serve our clients. Kassi graduated from Georgia State University in 2014 with a BA in Political Science with a concentration in International Affairs. She is a licensed insurance agent for life, accident and sickness. In her spare time, Kassi enjoys spending time with friends and family, keeping up with current events and politics and attending the Atlanta Hawks’ games.

Sahil joined the Atlanta Financial team as an Account Services Associate in May 2016 upon graduating from University of Georgia with a BBA degree in Finance. Prior to graduating from college, he served as an intern at Atlanta Financial. He works closely with Cathy and her team to handle client inquiries and assist with account-related activities to ensure the highest level of service and client satisfaction. Sahil is currently in the process of achieving his Series 7 and 63 securities registrations to enhance his ability to serve our clients. Sahil is an avid sports follower; his favorite sports are football, basketball, baseball and tennis. Sahil deems it important for residents of every city to support their respective home teams, therefore he has pledged to root for Atlanta Falcons, Hawks and Braves.

Tiana joined the Atlanta Financial team in October 2015 after moving to Georgia from Michigan with her six-year old son. Having graduated from Adrian College with a B. A. in English Literature, Tiana assists with scheduling, client interaction, coordinating events and general office administrative duties. Her passions include playing football and video games with her son, watching action movies, traveling to Michigan to visit family and reading.
